Refund Policy

If you find yourself dissatisfied or needing to make changes to your jewelry purchase, you are entitled to request a refund.

Essence Amsterdam is able to refund jewelry purchases within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a valid return, the product must be sent back to Essence Amsterdam in its original packaging and show no signs of use, abuse, or misuse. The ordered product must be returned to us by Certified Mail.

Once the product has been determined as an eligible return, Essence Amsterdam will refund the customer the amount spent on the returned products, minus shipping and packaging fees. We advise you to make every reasonable effort to ensure the safe delivery of the returned goods. If the refund request is approved, the funds will be issued to the Customer within 7 days of the refund request. Please note that any items deemed unsuitable for resale due to different packaging, misuse, alterations, or damage will not be accepted by Essence Amsterdam and will be returned to the customer. For exchanges of items purchased for a different size or color, please contact us. Additional duties, taxes, and applicable fees may be required during the exchange process, and exchanges are subject to the availability of stock at Essence Amsterdam. Please be aware that custom-made items cannot be refunded or exchanged as they are specifically made to your request. Please note that for returns or refunds, the shipping costs will be covered by the buyer. 

Gift Returns

If you are returning an item you received as a gift, you may exchange it for store credit. The store credit will be valid for one year and can be used for a future purchase through our online store. You will be responsible for any cost differences, shipping fees, or applicable charges. For any further inquiries about our policies or any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Faulty Product

We are happy to exchange or refund faulty jewelry products if we are formally notified by email within 14 days of receiving the items. However, please note that the exchange process may take up to 30 days. In the event of a faulty product or shipment, we will cover the shipping costs. Changing Your Mind

It is perfectly fine to change your mind. We are happy to exchange or refund your order if we are notified within 14 days of receiving your items. If you wish to return or exchange any of your items, please send the request to the following e-mail address to ensure a smooth process: hello@essence-amsterdam.com

Please note that for returns or refunds, the shipping costs will be covered by the buyer. The buyer must use registered/trackable shipping services and provide Essence Amsterdam with the tracking number.

 

Lifetime Warranty

Our lifetime guarantee covers a one-time repair of the product, free of charge, in case of defects in craftsmanship or breakage. To initiate the process, please send us a photo or video of the damage. After a replacement has been sent, future problems may incur a €50 repair fee (or equivalent currency exchange at the date of the initial repair request).

Please note that this warranty is voided under extreme user-induced damage issues such as deep scratches or intentional breakage. To redeem the guarantee, kindly contact our support team with photos or videos of your damaged product along with an explanation: hello@essence-amsterdam.com

Customers are responsible for covering the shipping costs when returning the product(s) to Essence Amsterdam for repair or replacement.
